Cardinals receive an outstanding third baseman this season, Nolan Arenado.

The excitement of the Budweiser Clydesdales entering Busch Stadium doesn’t compare to the St. Louis Cardinals’ recent big trade for Nolan Arenado from the Colorado Rockies. Unable to sign him in years past, they finally negotiated a trade deal signing the amazing third baseman and insane power hitter.

Although the Cardinals lost a couple of prospects and had to pay off his remaining contract with the Rockies, the decision to sign Arenado was a wise one for the future of Cardinal baseball. Arenado has been waiting patiently for St. Louis to try and pick him up for the special position as a third baseman and is blessed to have the opportunity to be a Cardinal.

Arenado had an uneasy feeling about leaving the Rockies after securing eight Gold Gloves and many other awards while wearing the purple and white jersey, but he saw there was a better opportunity for a key role in St. Louis. Fans are already showing support and an outpouring of love in St. Louis as Arenado chases his dream to become a prominent player in the league. Arenado is hopeful for both growth and fame with the Cardinals organization.

Beyond the baseball diamond, Arenado possesses strong character traits. He is an upstanding citizen. Arenado donates to many charities and spends some of the off-season in the community doing service work on top of that  he is an amazing team player, giving it his all every game.

Although it was a struggle to get him, the Cardinals finally cracked the seal and secured Arenado. Many say that this could go down as one of the biggest trades in MLB history. So watch out for Arenado in his Cardinal red uniform this upcoming MLB season and see how his skills enhance the success of our St. Louis Cardinals.
