As seniors come closer to graduation, they typically reflect on their memories and experiences they have gathered over their high school career. The community, relationships, faith and values are all crucial factors that make up a high school experience. As the year comes to end, seniors are content knowing friends will go, but memories will last forever. Each senior will miss different aspects of high school but it is a privilege to be able to miss something.
“What I will miss most about St Dominic is the lunch and having so much free time with my friends,” senior Natalie Orf said.
“The thing I will miss most about St. Dominic is the community that we have here, it is so unique and not present in every high school. I will also miss having one-on-one help from teachers,” senior Molly Lawrence said.
“I’m going to miss my math teacher, Mrs. Tubbs,” senior Maddie Pittman said.
“One thing I will miss is the class of seniors we have overall. The class of 2026 was a great group of kids and I am blessed to have gotten to meet them over my four years,”senior Ryker Dare said.
“I will miss Mrs. Naumann, my human A and P class teacher, and my friends,” senior Sophie Gilmore said.
“I will miss not having a consistent schedule every day that stays the same,” senior Clare Greisenhour said.
“Mainly I will miss going to the same school as my little sister and my peer ministry group,” senior Madeline Wilson said.
“I will miss the bond I have made over the years with my football brothers. They are more than teammates to me and our relationship is something I won’t find anywhere else,” senior Hayden Bollinger said.
“Mostly I will miss Cru and the friendships it has brought me. I never would’ve thought I would be as close with some of the people I am now and it’s all thanks to Cru,” senior Ryan Karhoff said.
”I will miss hosting parties for school dances and hanging with school friends on the weekends,” senior Kolt Hopper said.
“I will miss the relationships I have with my teachers. College will be less directed and I won’t get as much one on one help as I do now,” senior Claire Rankin said.
“I will miss going to school with my younger siblings. I love our rides to school together,” senior Madelyn Wagner said.
“Me and my friends can go to lunch anywhere anytime next year but it wont compare to school lunch at St Dom. I look forward to it everyday,” senior Cole Berkoetter said.
“I will miss living so close to school. Now, I live six minutes from St. Dom. Next year I will live an hour and a half away from home,” senior Audrina Hoff said.
”I will miss the food we have at St.dom and Mr. Welby,” senior Heidi Zeigler said.
”I will miss my friends the most next year. Going to Maryville will be fun and I will meet new friends but they won’t be my friends from Dominic,” senior Sophia Catalano said.
“I will miss my family time the most. We have had a great year and I love the relationship we have,” senior Callie Knott said.
“I’ll miss having conversations with people I’m not really close with but able to talk to them because we have classes and similar friends,” senior Erin Campbell said.
“We haven’t been here for a long time but I’m glad it was a good time,” senior Dylan Dawson said.
”I’ll miss all my friends and the close community at Dominic,” senior Lilly Aubuchon said.
”I will miss the strong community St Dominic has given me. To think I’ve never talked to these people before freshman year and now some of them are my closest friends,” senior Promis Daily said.
Each senior will miss something different from high school but all are thankful for the memories and opportunities high school has given them. The seniors are trying to take in every moment they can as the last day approaches. Best of luck with all that you have in store for you, Thank you seniors!
