“I was very happy with this year’s theme. I felt that it had a lot of potential,” junior Izzy Woytus said.
Emma Chamberlin attended her sixth Met Gala this year. After she walked the carpet, she served as an interviewer for Vogue. This year, Emma had arguably the most spectacular dress of the night. Wearing a custom Mugler dress, Emma gave homage to Vincent Van Gogh and his well-known painting, The Starry Night. She absolutely stole the show, capturing the theme in the best way possible.
“I absolutely loved Emma’s dress. It was by far my favorite of the night,” junior Tess Berens said.
Another fan favorite was Sabrina Carpenter wearing custom Dior. Her dress was creatively made out of rhinestones celluloid film strips. Her outfit paid tribute to Aubrey Hepburn’s 1954 film, Sabrina. Fans adored the innovative dress, and felt that she was perfectly on theme.
