Scentsational+Smells

Filled with holidays, new seasons and fun activities, October, November and December are easily the best three months of the year. But one thing many people forget about are the amazing smells that come along with the end of the year. Whether these scents are fall or Christmas, they are sure to spark joy this season.

The first holiday scent is pumpkin or pumpkin spice. The smell of pumpkin spice is an iconic tradition that just screams fall. That’s why it is the perfect scent to represent the month of October. Another favorite scent is cinnamon. Cinnamon is the perfect blend of spices to create a fall masterpiece. The final fall scent is falling leaves. The best feeling is walking outside when the leaves are starting to change and the weather is starting to cool. As soon as you step outside you can smell the newly fallen leaves, which often bring about a sense of joy and peace.

The next set of holiday scents takes place in November. November is the transition from fall to winter, and more importantly includes Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving isn’t only popular for the amazing meals and football; it also has plenty of delicious scents to offer. The first Thanksgiving scent is, of course, turkey and stuffing. The best feeling is walking into the kitchen on Thanksgiving and being overwhelmed with the smell of turkey and stuffing filling your nose. The second November scent is a crackling fire. After eating a full meal, there is nothing better than curling up near a fire and taking a nap. The smell of a crackling fire filling the air helps to make the perfect Thanksgiving.

The final set of holiday scents is in December. Christmas time is full of joy, peace and of course, wonderful smells. One Christmas scent is pine. There is nothing better than a fresh cut Christmas tree. The sweet and minty smell of pine will fill your nose and heart, completing your Christmas experience. The second Christmas scent is gingerbread. Whether it be a gingerbread house or gingerbread cookies, no Christmas is complete without it. The last winter scent is fresh snow. Nothing beats walking outside to the sparkling winter wonderland. There is something special about the crisp, clean scent of new snow.

The last three months of the year bring many exciting opportunities. With the holidays, special opportunities and the priceless family time, nothing compares. Along with all these exciting things come the wonderful scents. Be sure to be paying attention to your favorite scents this holiday season!
