Favorites like the cookie and the cinnamon roll are back

A new year means new freshman, it also means St. Dominic food is back. Now If you have never bought food here St.Dominic, here’s something you should know. St. Dominic food is not your typical school lunch. It is a variety of gourmet foods that the wonderful chefs of St. Dominic have decided to bestow upon us. This five star food will keep you full and energized throughout the day.

Now these freshmen have never experienced food like this. I remember my first taste of St. Dominic food. In a word, gorgeous. Experiencing St. Dominic food for the first time is a special moment filled with tears of joy.

“My favorite food here is the spicy chicken sandwich thing and my favorite thing to get at the breakfast bar is the chocolate milk,” Freshman Owen Fox said.

Owne’s middle school, St.Joseph Cottleville, does not compare to the food we have here at school. There are plenty more yummy options to pick from.

“The food is much better here than at my grade school and there are also a lot more options,” Fox said.

St. Dominic has added a couple of new snacks to the snack cart right by the checkout line. They have added full sized candy bars. Yes, you heard that right FULL SIZE. These full size candy bars are an excellent addition that opens the variety options. And so far are a big hit with the St. Dominic students.

Now I have a food expert in my family and his name is Austin Collins. Every time I walk into my family time he has a new food and an opinion on it.

“My favorite is the bacon croissant and yes St.Dominic food is a big improvement from my grade school,” Collins said.

It’s safe to say that St. Dominic has some very good food and they have a lot of excellent choices for picky eaters like myself. Also remember to always thank the lunch staff for their incredible food and all the hard work they do to keep us full.
