Every Autumn, America seems to get a new roll out of artists having something to announce. Whether it’s a tour, new album, or simply something exciting happening, there never seems to be an Autumn season that passes by where fans aren’t being treated to something new from their favorite artist.
The biggest talk of the town in the music world lately is Taylor Swift. Exciting news hit Instagram in early August. Swifties and fans of Jason and Travis Kelce’s podcast “New Heights” started to receive some hints on who the next podcast guest was. On an Instagram post shared by the podcast, a silhouette of a woman who seemed to resemble Swift was posted, along with the caption,“92%ers, we’re coming back early for a special episode with a VERY special guest.”
Later revealed to actually be Swift, fans went crazy as she publicly went on her boyfriend’s podcast, and announced her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” out on October 3rd. As if that wasn’t enough for fans, Travis Kelce and Swift announced their engagement to the world in a heartfelt caption. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married” (@taylorswift and @killatrav).
Another main pop girl of the world, Sabrina Carpenter, just released an album on August 28th called “Man’s Best Friend.” The album featured twelve songs, including lead single “Manchild.” Although the album was much anticipated among fans, it was quickly met with some criticism.
Although Carpenter’s new album has been hit with criticism for the past few days, that didn’t stop it from breaking records. On August 30th, the album became the most streamed album by a female artist in 2025, and on September 7th, the album hit number one on the Billboard Charts.
In the most recent news, it was announced that Ariana Grande is going back on tour for her album “eternal sunshine”. The singer, 32, has not been on tour since 2019 for her album “Sweetener”. Although Grande has two past albums since Sweetener, thank u, next, and Positions, she has not embarked on a tour because of the COVID-19 Pandemic and her recent movie, Wicked. Fans were more than ready to buy tickets when pre-sale came around on September 9th, but that didn’t mean it was any easier to get tickets. The ticket sales were almost unattainable to some fans, because when they’d go to check out with their tickets they were met with a screen that said the tickets were already purchased. However, there is still time for fans who didn’t get to buy tickets to get some as Ariana doesn’t start her tour until June of this year.
Overall, it seems like an exciting few months for these artists and their fans. With all of Taylor Swift’s announcements and Ariana Grande’s tour, fans are sure to be happy to have so many exciting things to look forward to.
