Top 5 Prom Picture Spots

St.+Dominics+Prom+is+only+a+week+away+from+today
O’Fallon Rec Guide
St. Dominic’s Prom is only a week away from today

As prom night approaches, students are beginning to make before-hand plans, which includes everyone’s favorite activity: photos! While the process can be long and enduring, choosing the right place is the most important key in having a successful prom.

  1. Legacy Park

Located in Cottleville, Legacy Park is a beautiful place to gather with others and take photos. Usually, before dances this park is packed with students as it’s a popular place to take pictures. The park includes beautiful scenery with unique photo opportunities including a pond and a historic town house. Additionally, the town of Cottleville holds many other photo opportunities such as their cute boardwalk.

  1. Spencer Creek

Spencer Creek Park is located in a local St. Petert’s neighborhood. It is located on 32 acres, to make sure you don’t run into any struggles while taking pictures. It also has two beautiful pavilions, and it even has an extensive trail system to offer. Even though Spencer Creek park may not offer a lot compared to others, it has lots of open space to allow for beautiful pictures.

  1. Boulevard Park

Boulevard park includes a variety of unique features and is located close to Dominic. They have a beautiful veranda, which is home to many weddings and a great photo opportunity. Additionally, the park has a unique bridge and stunning rock features to add in a change of scenery. This park is highly recommended by various St. Dominic students, and is only a short drive from Dominic as it is located on Lake St. Louis Boulevard.

  1. Veterans Tribute

Veterans Tribute is one of the newest additions to the local Weldon Springs area. It includes beautiful lakes, lots of trails surrounded by trees, a wooden bridge that goes across the lake, and if you’re looking to add some goofy photos, they have a huge playground area. This park has beautiful scenery that will look absolutely amazing in photos. This park may be a little out of the way for some St. Dominic students, but if you’re looking for a new spot to take prom pictures, go and check out Veteran Tribute.

1.Fort Zumwalt Park

Recently renovated, Fort Zumwalt park has a new look making it fresh and stunning. The park includes a large pond, with various plants and springtime flowers. Additionally, they have many paths making all photo opportunities easily accessible, and mess free. If you’re looking for an easy, but beautiful park in spring bloom this is the place for you!

Planning prom can be a hassle, especially when it comes to photos. Perhaps they are the most annoying part of the night, but the most important! In coming years you’ll look back at your photos, so make sure to choose a special place that matters to you!
