Hanging Up The Cleats For Good

Jason+Kelce+announces+retirement+after+thirteen+seasons+in+the+NFL

Jason Kelce announces retirement after thirteen seasons in the NFL

With recent news from the National Football League, Philadelphia Eagles star player Jason Kelce will be retiring. There was speculation that this was happening during the end of the regular season, and at the start of the Super Bowl. After 13 seasons in the NFL, he has made the decision to hang up the cleats for good.

Jason Kelce is a well rounded player, and is highly known for being one of the two Kelce brothers in the NFL. With Travis Kelce being a three time Super Bowl Champion, Jason had a lot of celebratory moments along with his own Super Bowl victory in 2017.

Kelce has played with the Philadelphia Eagles all 13 seasons and has built a family from his teammates and memorable moments as an Eagle. Through his career as a professional football player, he has been selected to play in six Pro Bowl games, along with his well earned Super Bowl win.

Jason Kelce played center through his career, and highly excelled in this position. He proudly wore number 62 on the field, as he consistently showed his efforts during his performances on the field. Kelce was lucky to have been in the Eagles program for such a long time, which led him to develop the program with the new and old players on the Eagles.

Kelces retirement announcement affected football fans from all over the league. Kelce truly played with his heart, and was known for determination and character. He represented the Eagles in a positive manner and will be remembered as one of the best centers in the NFL.

Jason will now have plenty of time to spend quality time with his wife Kylie and three children. Kelce is 36 years old, and is leaving his career on a good note after thirteen seasons which is highly impressive.

Jason has been shown to already miss playing as he has returned to the Eagles facility for weight training. He expressed his emotions when his announcement was made during an interview with tears in his eyes. Kelce received an overwhelming amount of support from fans and the Eagles community.

In recent media reports, the feeling of retirement has not hit him yet. This has been quite an emotional journey for the Kelce family but the best is yet to come.
