House Gratia has been putting up a fight this year and they don’t plan to back down anytime soon. Their HOH’s Luke Cullison and Riley Monroe have a lot of plans to help push them forward on the leaderboard.

Gratia did not have the best start in the house system, sitting toward the bottom of the leaderboard at the beginning of the year. However, they have found their competitiveness and are now starting to show it. They won some big points during the Crusader Raffle, selling the most raffle tickets during the first and last weeks of the competition, receiving a total of 16 points from the two wins. They also placed third in the Freshman Only Competition which helped boost them forward.

“I am proud of my house so far. Everyone has been working really hard and it is paying off. I think Gratia has grown really close and I am excited to see what happens the rest of the year,” said Monroe.

The hallway decorating competition is coming up after Thanksgiving break and Gratia has a really good movie to base their hallway off of. They chose A Charlie Brown Christmas and are very excited to get working on decorations. This competition could really help push them forward on the leaderboard.

While they are currently sitting in fifth place with 31 points, Gratia has closed the gap with the other houses that formed at the beginning of the year. They also have a lot of good ideas that could help get them closer to first place. They are not a house to be messed with as they have formed a good bond with one another and are ready to fight.

“We are planning on improving in every competition this year. We have done this so far and want to keep it that way. Our hope is to win the house cup,” said Cullison.

Gratia is one house everyone should be on the lookout for because their competitive sides have finally come out. They are a house to be feared and it is important to keep them on your radar because they might come out on top when you least expect it.
