As many seniors are picking out places for their senior pictures, the common factors people look for are good natural lighting, scenic features, color pallets, and unique locations. There are many different kinds of locations for senior photo shoots, including public parks, downtown places in the city, and famous streets in the area. The most popular locations in the Saint Louis Area include Forest Park, Klondike Park, Bush Wildlife, and Main Street St. Charles.
“I had done my senior pictures at the Jewel Box. My photographer had recommended the place because it was beautiful. I had done my session at sunset and the sun reflected off the buildings, which made my pictures so much better,” senior Peyton Gibson said.
The Jewel Box greenhouse is one of the main attractions in Forest Park because of its many flowers and permanent floral displays, making it popular for holding photography sessions and wedding ceremonies because of the many features it has.
“My senior photos I took at Klondike Park. I picked this place because I had seen many previous seniors take pictures there and they turned out amazing. It was super pretty because the park has white sand near the water and it picked up so well in the photos,” Finley Auping said.
Klondike Park, in Augusta Missouri, is popular for its natural scenery and great views. Also, it is full of nature’s beauty and has many amenities outside of places for photos. This setting makes it a top spot for senior photo sessions.
“ I was stuck on deciding between places for my senior pictures. I have heard good things about Forest Park because many of my friends have gone there and their pictures were amazing. I was also thinking about Klondike Park because it was also a very popular place,” senior Maddie Pittman.
Overall, when choosing a location for senior pictures, there are many places in the Saint Louis area that have great lighting, backdrops, and different settings for many different photos. If it’s a park full of nature’s beauty, a place downtown, or a popular street like Main Street St. Charles, there are plenty of opportunities for senior photos.
