For the past two weeks the fun and crazy Coachella event has been going on. This music festival is known for having some of the best headliners, but sometimes, and oftentimes, things go wrong. 

Popular music artist Frank Ocean, unfortunately pulled out of his music set for the second weekend. However, his reasons happened before he got the chance to perform for weekend one, which left many fans confused and disappointed. Some wait their entire lives to see their favorite artists, especially at a place like Coachella. If you are not a celebrity, it is a once in a lifetime experience. So one mistake can either make or break your entire festival experience. 

During one of Oceans rehearsals, he injured his ankle and leg. This was all happening before weekend one, and because of the injury he had to dumb down his first performance. Ocean still wanted to perform and he didn’t want to let his fans down so he worked his entire performance.

Although many fans were disappointed in Ocean’s set, many barely even saw him due to the fact that he was practically backstage most of the time. He seemed to be in and out all the time and fans were mostly confused.

Due to doctors’ advice, with Ocean having a sprain and two fractures in his left leg, he pulled out of the last day of weekend two. Many fans are so angry to hear this, but health comes first before a music festival. Fans are not being left high and dry, as that last spot will be taken by blink-182. 

The decision to cancel Coachella wasn’t easy for Frank Ocean. Ocean’s brother Ryan Breaux, was the reason that pushed Ocean to perform. Breaux unfortunately died back in 2020, and because of his love for Coachella, Ocean performed for the first time in six years.
