Harry’s new memoir hit the shelves on January 10, 2023.

The long awaited secrets of the royal family were brought to light in Prince Harry’s new memoir Spare. This tell-all contains the physical and emotional trauma Harry was put through on account of the monarch and the press.

Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved away from the limelight, they have been able to rebrand themselves. Harry was able to better himself by writing his memoir to share what really goes on behind closed doors. However, it was not meant to be spiteful or vindictive, but to give crucial insight on how twisted the press and even the monarch can be.

“Harry was extremely brave for bringing his family’s controversies to light. He took a major risk in saying some of those things particularly about his brother, Prince William, such as the physical assault or the verbal abuse that he gave to Harry. It sheds light on the Royal presence that needs to be shown, they have gotten away with this behavior for too long,” Royal family follower, Noah Schuessler said.

Prince Harry didn’t hold anything back expressing all the controversial and scandalous things he has done. The Prince dug into his ten years serving in the British Army, and the Afghanistan War. He also reflected on how he thought that his mother, Princess Diana, did not die in the Paris car crash, but that she actually disappeared.

“I think that her husband, Charles, actually planned for her to be killed. I think that he wanted to be with Camila, and he needed a way to get rid of Diana, and I think that she was starting to catch on so he figured it was his only choice,” Princess Diana lover, Maddie Hunsel said.

In a sense, Harry blames much of his childhood trauma on the press and his monarch. He stated that most of his problems are with the press, saying it was them who evolved a sick relationship between it and the palace.

“I think that their whole life in every aspect was put on blast, and I think that it really didn’t help when they were trying to grieve, as children and as normal human beings,” Hunsel said.

Prince Harry also realizes, however, that the royals must be pressured by the press in order to succeed. If the monarch is going to survive, then it must have support, either being publicity from the royal weddings, jubilees, or funerals. The problem with the press is that it breeds paranoia and resentment within the royal family. This had a great deal to do with himself and Meghan leaving the royal life three years ago.

“I do believe them when they say they left the Royal Family for their own safety. The British press has been known to be very harsh towards Meghan, and they were only going to continue to do it to her. I think their only option was to leave which took a great deal of courage since I can’t recall a story of any other person leaving the royal family in such fashion,” Schuessler said.

The deeper reflections of Harry’s opinions can all be found in his newly published memoir. For which, the sales are already record-breaking, selling 1.43 million copies the day it dropped. Spare is available in hard copy, e-books and Audible books.
