This past week, a beloved TV star Taylor Frankie Paul has struck the media with more drama. The beloved reality star first surfaced in 2022 when she appeared on “The Secret Live of Mormon Wives” and became popular because of her bold actions and her ability to “tell it like it is”.
Just recently a captivating video became public that fans can’t ignore. In the video, Taylor is seen striking her partner (now ex-partner) with a chair and shouting foul language at him. This controversy is centered mainly around her untestable and unpredictable relationship, but is most important regarding the future.
Taylor Frankie Paul was expected to appear on the new season of the Bachelorette that was supposed to air this last Sunday. Despite the video allegedly being from 2023, and supposedly dealt with, the commotion around the situation has not only affected her personal life, but her professional life. Reportedly, Taylor has lost custody of her son and all upcoming brand deals have been cut. The season 22 of the Bachelorette has been cancelled, not only affecting her reputation, but connecting and affecting even the broader Bachelorette franchise. Many fans are disappointed and want the new Eaton to air regardless if Taylor is in it or not.
“I have been looking forward to the new season for so long. She was never going to make it better, I don’t see why she is so important,” senior Molly Lawrence said.
While half of the viewers think this way, others disagree and argue the Bachelorette will be nothing without her. Many viewers were mostly excited to see her specifically and her new role as an eligible Bachelorette. Now some fans say season 22 will be repetitive and old without her honesty.
“Nobody will be able to replace her honestly and her ability to keep it real with herself and her partner,” senior Madeline Wilson said.
The situation may or may not have been taken out of proportion. Regardless, this is not only a TV drama, it is a legal situation with legal and financial consequences that Frankie will struggle to come back from.
