St. Dominic High School teacher feature- Lisa Koepke: Learning Consultant

Mrs. Lisa Koepke, our newest learning consultant, at St. Dominic has been involved with education for 14 years. She has a rooted history here at SDHS and truly enjoys supporting students and empowering them to become successful, lifelong learners.

Mrs. Koepke is no stranger to all things St. Dominic. The Computer Science Lab is dedicated in honor of her Great Uncle -Brother Vincent “Vinnie” Wilmes -who was an incredible role model by sharing and living the values of his Catholic faith daily.

“I have a solid family history here at St. Dominic. My mother, aunts, uncles, and cousins attended. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work at St. Dominic, where I can carry Brother Vinne’s legacy,”  Mrs. Koepke said

Mrs. Koepke is such a big help to St. Dominic. Her role of learning consultant helps so many students stay on track here at SDHS. Mrs. Koepke is often seen collaborating with teachers and students to ensure they are getting the best education. Although Mrs. Koepke fills a big role inside of school, she also has roles outside of school.

Mrs. Koepke is married with three kids all under 14 years of age. She also has a very energetic yellow labrador that keeps her busy.

“When I am not at school, most of my free time is spent on the sidelines cheering on my kids and their teams in their various sporting activities,” Mrs. Koepke said.

It seems as though no matter if Mrs. Koepke is here at school or home with her family, she has a lot going on. So far, she loves Crusader Nation and the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team who shares a vision of ensuring success for all learners. Mrs. Koepke perfectly demonstrates our four pillars and St. Dominic is happy to have such a dedicated addition..
