St. Dominic Water Fountains: Springs of Life or Droughts of Death
At St. Dominic, it is important to know which water fountains have a direct line to the spring of life and which should be avoided at all possible costs. Everyone has to drink water, so why not make it a good experience? Here’s where each water fountain lies in the ranks at St. Dominic.
8. Dungeon Water Fountain
The dungeon is where this water fountain belongs–in prison for its crime against the deliverance of water to humankind. It is grimy, greasy and difficult to use. Student are liable to get more water on themselves than in their cup if using the dungeon water fountain. Unless you want a shower from its unreliable spout, avoid drinking water from here at all costs.
7. Outside the Cafeteria
Most of you probably don’t even know this water fountain exists–because it shouldn’t! If you are in need a drink, good luck because food is constantly clogging the drain. If you are that thirsty, the bathroom sink would be a better option than this water fountain.
6. Small Gym Water Fountain
You are out of luck if using the small gym water fountain. The water is warm, and it is back breaking to sip from the tiny spout. Some students say it tastes like cardboard, so try to avoid the water fountain in the small gym.
5. Lower Four Hundreds Hallway
The word for this water fountain is simply okay. It has decent water with good delivery, but the location is undesirable. The bathroom scents waft to those drinking water in the lower four hundreds hallway, creating a bit of an unpleasant experience. Overall, this water fountain will not hurt or help your day in any way.
4. Upper Four Hundreds Hallway
With an accessible way to fill up your water bottle, the upper four hundreds is a good stop to grab a quick sip. It is in a good location and has cool water–a safe bet for a bit of water.
3. Mezzanine Water Fountain (and pretty much every water fountain in the new building)
If you happen to be in history, rehearsing in the PAC or playing sports in the new gym, you are in for some fresh water. It is consistently cool and refreshing, a perfect option for a cool drink all hours of the day.
2. Maintenance Room Water Fountain
If you’re willing to make the trek, this water fountain has the best tasting water in the entire school. The water is delectable by all measures: cold, smooth and delicious. You need to have a good water bottle though, because it has a small spout to use.
1. Main Hallway Water Fountain
Being the most accessible and cool water fountain at St. Dominic, this fountain is the most efficient stop to fill your cup. It has the easy to use system, making it superior to all other fountains usable during the school day.
Knowing which water fountains are high quality will increase your day at St. Dominic by at least 3%. Avoid the dungeon and stop by the main hallway to indulge in some delicious water!
