St. Dominic is entering an exciting time during this fall season, it’s time for the Crusader Raffle! The Crusader Raffle is an annual St. Dominic event to raise funds for the school in a community oriented way.
If St. Dominic reaches its goals the students will receive a dress down day on Thursday, October 17. Students will also receive a day off of school if St. Dominic continues to reach its goals throughout the upcoming weeks.
“The Crusader Raffle was launched as a fundraising initiative to support the St. Dominic community. Since partnering with Go Raise Dough in 2015, the raffle has become an annual event that helps raise funds to further enhance our student experiences inside and outside the classroom,” Director of Advancement Mrs. Ballard said.
This year’s raffle is well on its way to reach the goal of $150,000. Many students have donated this year, helping St. Dominic raise money while giving the community a chance to win the Raffle.
“It’s super simple to donate! My dad has bought 5 tickets so far,” junior John Schultz said.
The process to donate to the raffle is super easy, with the most popular way being to click on personalized links sent by students. Another way to donate is to click on the link on any St. Dominic social media platform.
“The easiest way to contribute is by purchasing raffle tickets through the personalized emails sent by students and faculty via Go Raise Dough. This platform streamlines the process, making it simple to share with family and friends. Personally, I’ve even shared it on my social media, and friends outside of St. Dominic have participated—who wouldn’t want a chance to win $10,000,” Mrs. Ballard said.
The Crusader Raffle has helped out Dominic and its students by funding the school and the winner who receives a large amount of money. The raffle also provides a sense of community and togetherness among students, parents, and more.
“The raffle has made a significant positive impact, both financially and socially. It not only helps meet the school’s financial needs but also fosters a spirit of collaboration among students, faculty, and the broader community,” Mrs. Ballard said.
Make sure to check out and donate to the Crusader Raffle to aid St. Dominic in reaching its goals. The raffle will be available to donate to all week, along with the next two weeks.
“Our goal for this year is to raise $140,000, with a stretch goal of $150,000. With full participation from both students and faculty, I am confident that we can achieve this. We’ve also planned some exciting incentives to keep everyone motivated over the next 2.5 weeks,” Mrs. Ballard said.
Any other updates concerning the raffle will be stated on St. Dominic’s social media or stated in the daily announcements at St. Dominic! After donating you may be the lucky winner of 10,000 dollars!
