If you like people over 60 and the bachelor, then you’re gonna love the Golden Bachelor. ABCs new show The Golden Bachelor, has just debuted and here’s what went down on this exciting first episode

In the first five minutes we meet our main man, our Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner. Turner’s story is very emotional, and it makes you want him to find love. After we meet our hunk Gerry, we meet the women that are going to battle each other for him.

Now these women aren’t just your ordinary older women, these women are up past their bedtimes, and are confident that they will land the hunk known as Gerry Turner. One of these women even dated the famous singer Prince. As we met all the women entering the house, there was a surprise guest, Aunt Chippy. If you don’t know who Aunt Chippy is, she is the aunt of Jimmy Kimmel. Aunt Chippy fell asleep as soon as she got into the house and missed the rose ceremony.

Now everyone was super nice to each other, but one girl really got on my nerves, and her name is KATHY. Kathy made me so mad because she was judgey towards the other ladies, and let me tell you, I was not having it. But I was having it with the bad girl of bachelor house, Faith. Gerry and Faith are one heck of a couple. Faith made a gorgeous entrance on a motorcycle, and Gerry was just in awe of what he saw. I was just loving these two, but what I didn’t love was the rose ceremony.

The Rose Ceremony was tough to watch. Not only did Gerry start crying but Kathy didn’t get voted out. Now if you aren’t familiar with the rose ceremony, it is when the bachelor hands the ladies a rose, and if you get a rose you get to stay, but if you aren’t handed a rose you go home. Gerry sent home six women on the first night, and it was tough on Gerry. 

After the emotional Rose Ceremony, Gerry and the remaining women celebrated. After that, they showed a preview for the next couple of episodes and it looks really intense. Make sure to catch the next episode of The Golden Bachelor on ABCs channel on Thursday nights at 7pm.
