There is a lot of debate surrounding how to drink coffee the right way

The common question asked when you go through the Starbucks drive-thru is, “Would you like that hot or iced?” There is a lot of controversy surrounding this very simple question, but there is only one right answer. Hot.

As a person who drinks coffee almost every day, I have tried all kinds of coffee. I like to drink my coffee hot and in a mug. Now, I would be a hypocrite if I sat here and told you that I never drink iced coffee. I do every now and then, but I believe the only right way to drink coffee is brewed hot.

I need to see the steam rising off the top of the cup. I want the whipped cream to melt and dissolve into the coffee. I want to enjoy a slice of banana bread while I sip on some hot coffee. If my mouth is not burnt on the first sip, then it is not prepared right. Coffee should be scorching hot when it is poured from the pot. It is the only way d.

Hot coffee is the perfect drink to have out on the porch on a damp morning. It is the perfect drink on a cold winter morning when snow is falling down. It is the perfect drink to have while you read a book while it’s raining and dark out. It is even the perfect drink to start your summer morning before you head off to work or the gym.

There is never a bad time to have hot coffee. Now, there are bad times to have iced coffee. On those hot summer days, yes iced coffee might be good for five minutes,  but then the ice starts to melt and you are left with watered down coffee. Iced coffee is not fun to drink when it is below freezing outside, and you have to wear gloves just in order to hold your coffee cup.

Basically, hot coffee is very enjoyable while iced coffee just ends up leaving you frustrated. For myself, it is nice to sip on a hot white chocolate mocha or a nice warm caramel latte (those are some of my Starbucks favorites). Yeah, iced coffee is okay every once in a while, but I am never left satisfied. There is only one right way to drink coffee which is to be brewed hot and poured into a mug.
