Parks and Recreation vs. The Office
For die-hard fans, the controversial question of whether The Office or Parks and Recreation is better is about to be settled.
The Office is an instant classic, with memorable one-liners and hilariously annoying characters. Accompanied by the semblance of a plot in the form of Jim and Pam’s romance, The Office’s dry wit and talented acting are sure to stand the test of time. However, with the exception of Jim and Pam, it can be hard to find a character that you actually like, instead of just loving to hate.
On the other hand, Parks and Recreation has all the humor of The Office while also having lots of endearing and likeable characters.
The trademark of The Office is seeing how a bunch of people who can barely tolerate each other manage to make it through the day to day. In Parks and Recreation, we see the same kinds of distinct personalities learning to mesh together and form hilarious and lasting friendships.
At the end of the day, Parks and Rec beats The Office as the more wholesome, funny and plot-driven show. However, people may appreciate each show differently based on their own sense of humor.
Be sure to binge each show to decide for yourself!
