Boys Volleyball is Heating Up

The boy’s volleyball team is approaching the heat of their season and are ready to take the challenge head on. The team chemistry is taking these boys right where they need to be in this competitive season.

They volleyball boys had a tough road in the beginning of the season, but their strong team bond is helping them gear up for the second half of their competitions. The team is mostly juniors and seniors this year, giving them the vital edge of experience.

“Being all juniors and seniors has been terrific for our chemistry. I feel like we are all one solid team this year that does everything together,” said senior Alex Cammarata.

Even though they do not have as much experience as teams in the past, they have the hard work and determination to even the playing field with their other competitors.

“We may not have as much experience as we have in the past years, but we all want to work as hard as we can to get there, and that is the difference,” said junior Jake Lyons.

Another key component to this group’s success is their athleticism. In sports, simply being a well-rounded athlete can put you ahead of other teams, no matter your skill level. These boys have the edge and athleticism needed to win.

“I have so many multi-sport athletes on my roster, and because of that, we are never lacking in strength, stamina and speed,” said varsity coach Maggie Allen.

The team has proven that they have the potential to go very far this season. They improve every time they step onto the court, winning a few crucial games that have increased their confidence.

“Seeing their confidence and the realization that we are capable of beating big teams is truly awesome,” said Coach Allen.

The team has a bright future ahead of them and they want everyone to take part in this ride. The Crusader’s next game is April 26 at home versus their biggest rival, Duchesne. So, let’s get a big crowd to support our boys!
