Mom Prom and Daddy-Daughter Dances: Yay or Nay
Every son and daughter should have the chance to attend a dance with their mother or father. How else are you going to find out if your parents can bust a move?
The idea of mother-son and father-daughter dances are somewhat foreign to the St. Dominic community, but they are exactly what they sound like. These are similar to your traditional high school dances minus the drama of finding dates, avoiding chaperons and stinky gyms!
For those who would be unable to bring their mother or father, it would still be the perfect opportunity to bring along an aunt, uncle or parent of a close friend. The dress code is old prom attire—in other words, feel free to use this as an opportunity to buy yourself something pretty.
A few magical evenings could be in store for St. Dominic students and their favorite dates. Just imagine photo booths, free-styling and all the punch you can drink! What better way is there to spend quality time with the parents you love?
With all the chaos surrounding high school dances, our parents seem to miss out on all the fun. Who’s to say they can’t join in? Hopefully, St. Dominic will consider Mom Prom and Daddy-Daughter dances in the future!
