Bieber’s Fever for Faith
After years of driving under the influence and egging people’s houses, Justin Bieber has finally made the leap of faith. In true Bieber fashion, he confirmed his transformation from delinquent to disciple with an extravagant Christian tattoo.
Justin Bieber has been known as a young prodigy, a teen heartthrob and a troubled delinquent. Now, he is a true man of God. The “Baby” singer has tried time and time again to say “Sorry” for his inexcusable actions, but has repeated the same mistakes, making fans ask, “What Do You Mean?”
“I look back at a lot of things in my life, mistakes, insecurities, and although I have felt I’ve wasted a lot of time, it also makes me want to be better faster! For me personally, I want to work every day to be better at 70,” said Bieber via Instagram.
To confirm his new Christian life, Bieber sealed the deal with a new tattoo. Justin covered the tattoos of his former self with a giant cross and skeletal demons, because how else do you prove you’re a man of God?
“Let the devil know not today! The devil has no power when you know the living God! His name is Jesus!! Why worry when you can worship,” said Bieber via Instagram.
During a concert in Manchester, the same city in which a terrorist attacked an Ariana Grande concert, Justin went on a passionate rant about the necessity for Christianity in today’s society. Pastor Judah Smith of The City Church witnessed Bieber’s jarring transformation into a disciple of Jesus firsthand.
“What I witnessed last night as I watched my friend and brother for life [Justin Bieber] completely give himself to the gift God has given him and lift people’s souls was nothing short of astounding,” said Smith via Instagram.
After pledging to live by Christ’s example, Bieber has spent his time riding bikes, getting botched tattoos and dating Selena Gomez — interesting.
In all seriousness, the concrete steps Bieber has taken to change his life for the better are impressive. It’s hard to understand how someone goes from vandalism to Christianity in such a short time span, but kudos to Bieber for finding a positive way to deal with his frustrations. Let’s hope that Bieber continues to grow as a Christian and as a man—albeit with a few more tattoos.
