The MARVELous Black Panther
In 2008, the Marvel Cinematic Universe debuted their first movie, Iron Man. Since then, they have released 17 films and have become one of the greatest movie franchises of all time. Their next big hit is the Black Panther, making its theatre debut on February 16.
Being one of the most respected movie franchises comes with great responsibility. Marvel’s Black Panther, starring Chadwick Boseman, will most likely exceed everybody’s expectations.
In an interview with Variety, actor, producer, and director Forest Whitaker‘s said that Black Panther is something the world has never seen before. Along with Whitaker, the rapper Snoop Dogg is also excited about the release of Black Panther. He has even donated money for underprivileged children to go see the movie. He believes that seeing superhero movies will help inspire the children, despite their situation.
It seems like every time Marvel comes out with a new movie, it ends up being the best Marvel movie ever. For example, after a mere 30 minutes, the well anticipated Black Panther was already sold out and over took all other Marvel movie ticket sales in twenty four hours. Even Lupita Nyong’o, who plays Nakia in Black Panther, wasn’t able to purchase a ticket before they sold out.
While Black Panther’s release is anticipated, Marvel’s next film Avengers: Infinity War will be their greatest film of all time. In fact, it is rumored to be the biggest and most expensive film ever made, with a record of 67 characters and a budget of $1 billion. Both of the Marvel movies are highly anticipated by Marvel fans all over the world. Make sure to get to theatres to see the Black Panther before it is too late.
