Cross Country Heading into Districts

The cross country team had their last regular season meet of the season in Mexico on Tuesday, October 17. It was a great team effort from both the boys and girls. Junior Jon Remmers ran the fastest time at 18:58, scoring the team record for this year. They will compete in districts next Saturday, October 28.

“I’m pretty confident we can do well in districts. If we can all get our times under 18 minutes, we should do well,” said Remmers.

“Even though not all of us will be running, a lot of people have still been coming to practice to run and support. We’ve faced a lot of injuries this season, but varsity’s almost back up to full strength. I think districts is going to be a great race for the whole team,” said senior Dan Faust.

Congratulations to the cross country team on a great season, and we wish them good luck at districts. Make it out to Warrenton for their district meet!
