Tennis Ladies Tackling State

Tennis seniors Abby West, Audrianna Hebron and Kristina Green made their second straight appearance at the sate championship on Friday, October 13. West competed in singles, while Hebron and Green competed in doubles. All three of them made it to quarterfinals in the consolation bracket. They started out the season with a goal to make it back to state, and their hard work has payed off.

“This season, all I wanted was to go to state my senior year. When Audrianna, Abby, and I made it to state, we were so excited to go for the second year in a row. The most important thing for me was just being there. Playing with my team one last time at state was so bittersweet, and I am so proud that we accomplished our goal to make it to state,” said Green.

Making it to state back-to-back years is an impressive feat and was a great way for these girls to wrap up their tennis careers at St. Dominic. Congrats to the tennis girls on a great season!
