    With fall approaching, there is a lot to be excited for: Halloween, chilly weather and new movies. With hundreds of movies set to release in the coming months, here are five promising fall flicks that can’t be missed!

    Happy Death-Day
    Horror fans have been heavily anticipating this spine-chilling thriller since the release of its’ trailer earlier this summer. Jessica Rothe plays Tree, a college student who keeps reliving the day of her murder. After experiencing her death over and over again, she sets out stop the cycle and unmask her killer. With October 31 approaching, this is the perfect horror flick to get you into the Halloween spirit.

    Thor: Ragnarok
    Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as Thor, the hammer wielding avenger, in this third installment of the Thor series. This film takes place four years after the events in the 2013 film, Thor: Dark World and two years after the events in 2015’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Marvel fans can look forward to an epic showdown between Thor and The Incredible Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo. Also Hela, played by Cate Blanchett, will be a new villain taking on the screen. This film is guaranteed to be an action-packed, thrill ride and a must-see for any super hero fan.

    My Little Pony: The Movie
    Scary movies aren’t for everyone. For those who enjoy heartwarming and feel-good adventures, My Little Pony: The Movie is the perfect choice.

    Based on the iconic Hasbro toys and the acclaimed TV show, this film follows the beloved ponies as they embark on a journey to save Equestria. Fan favorites such as and Pinky Pie, Apple Jack and Rainbow Dash will return, along with new friends such Captain Caelano, voiced by Zoe Saldana, and Songbird Serenity, voiced by Sia. This film looks like a lot of fun for My Little Pony fans of all ages.

    Disney and Pixar are back with a new animated story about an aspiring musician named Miguel. His only problem is that music has been banned by his family for generations. Miguel teams up with Hector, a charming skeleton, on a journey through The Land Of The Dead in order to prove his talent and discover his family secrets. This film draws a lot of it’s inspiration from the Day of the Dead and features some vibrant and colorful animation. Disney and Pixar always deliver, and Coco has the potential to be another classic.

    Only The Brave
    This film tells the true story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, one of the most elite firefighting crews in the country. In this drama, the talented team of firemen battle a devastating wildfire in Yarnell, Arizona. With a talented group of actors featuring Miles Teller, Jeff Bridges and Taylor Kitsch, this inspiring story is sure to move audiences. Only The Brave is shaping up to be one of the best movies of the year.
