Never Walking Alone in Playoff Season
The ladies’ soccer team is kicking up the competition in district play. The Crusaders defeated Liberty on May 18 at home to take the district championship title.
With a score of 6-0, the Crusaders have their hopes high going into sectionals.
“There is pressure, but we always know going into districts what needs to be done. The alumni always come back and support us to remind us that we really are never walking alone. They’ve been there, and they know we are capable of taking home hardware too,” said junior Madison Miller.
Anna Pieper, Madison Miller, Madeline Bauer, Katanna Kortkamp and Kirsten Lepping scored goals in their big win last night and gave the team a boost of confidence going into sectionals. The Crusaders’ next game is Tuesday the 23, so come out and support these ladies in their quest for the state cup.
