Four Habits of Effective Vacationers

Let’s be real: summer time isn’t meant for the type of people enrolled in elite learning camps and taking extra classes to graduate early. The pure essence of summer is meant for the rest of us, the type who call lounging by the pool for 16 hours a productive day. We can still be effective in the two glorious months of summer. Here are some helpful tips:

1. Leave your drink in the shade.

The only thing as bad as warm lemonade is when it is watered down. If you leave your drink out in the sun when sitting outside, you will be forced to choose the lesser of these two evils. Leaving your drink in the shade could change a life.

2. Think ahead.

Lay out your sandals or flip flops before you go to sleep. Then, you don’t have to spend 30 minutes looking for them and can sleep all the way until 12:30. Then, you won’t have to wake up incredibly early at noon.

3. Save water.

Are your shirts really that dirty? If you aren’t getting dressed until the afternoon and only wearing your shirt until you get in the pool, it does not necessarily need of a wash. Do the environment a favor and spare a load.

4. Fight Humidity with a New Do.

The bro flow you’ve been rocking all winter can provide great warmth in the bitter cold, but once the warm months roll around it becomes nothing less than inconvenient. Do your body a favor and assist in homeostasis by ditching that hair-do. Not only will you be solving the life long humidity and hair dilemma, but letting one of your friends shave your head can be a great bonding activity.

I hope these tips and tricks will help you achieve a successful summer break. See you refreshed, renewed and rocking a shaved head next year Crusader Nation!
