Eyes Set on an Ace Season
St. Dominic men’s tennis is officially underway. With the teams finalized, the players and coaches are now focused on one thing: winning. The team has set their standards high, hoping to ace the competition on their way to state.
Senior and varsity player Jack O’Connor is ready for the season and is excited for what it holds.
“I think the team is going to be pretty good. We have strong players and strong leadership. We are excited to see what we can do this season. We are ready to go,” said O’Connor.
O’Connor, along with the other upperclassmen, are a big part of the leadership of the team. This leadership is helping the younger players get into the swing of things and is preparing them for the long season.
Coach Noah Duncan is preparing the team and is ready for another great season.
“The team is shaping up nicely. We have some really good, young talent and I feel that we should compete for the conference championship as well as the district championship. I am also excited about continuing to build our front row fans and to use our awesome new pavilion,” said Coach Duncan.
The team is ready to get underway with the season. With a great coach, talented players and the drive to win, St. Dominic tennis is looking ready to bring home some W’s. Come out and support your boys as they start the season off at Duchesne on March 21 at 3:30.
