Mrs. Janet Eaton was supposed to attend an Alabama concert, but pouring down rain forced her father to keep her from going. Instead, Janet went to a barn dance at her neighbor’s that night. Also at the barn dance was Kevin Eaton, her future husband who was home from his service with the Navy. Janet and Kevin danced the night away. Kevin returned to the Navy and Janet didn’t see him for six months. When he returned, they did not miss a beat and began to date. They got married on May 31, 1986, and have been married for 30 years with three kids.

Go out to eat together.

What is your best memory with each other?

Vacationing with family.

What is some advice you would give to married couples about being married for so long?

Love everyday and don’t let the little things get to you.
