Sally and Curt Garrett
At the young age of 15, Sally met her future husband at her sister’s wedding. Although she wasn’t allowed to date until she was 16, her admirer, Curt, was willing to wait for her. On Sally’s birthday, she received a phone call from Curt asking if she would go on a date with him. Sally simply responded saying that she had to ask her father for permission first. With her father’s blessing, Sally and Curt dated for three years before he popped the question. They got married happily ever after on April 5, 1986. They will be married for 31 years in April, with three sons and one grandson.
