Final Rose Fantasy League: The Bachelor

Final Rose Fantasy League: The Bachelor

The TV channel ABC is the gateway to people finding their one true love on reality television. As much as critics speculate the contestants’ intentions or call the show’s premise bogus, millions of viewers tune in every season to watch The Bachelor. Of course, as soon as the potential fiancees of the lucky bachelor step out of the limo, audiences already begin mentally betting on who will come out on top. This unofficial mental game has now become “January Madness” as ABC signed with ESPN to launch The Bachelor Fantasy League.

Through ESPN, viewers can now join the online bracket by choosing their favorites, eliminating the villains and placing their bets on who their gut tells them will receive that final rose. It is similar to any other fantasy league. Each week there will be chances to earn points by answering weekly bonus questions such as, “Who will receive the group date rose?” or “Who will leave on their own at the rose ceremony?” If choosing to join the Big League dubbed by the Twitter hashtag, #BachelorNation, every point is an entry into the grand-prize drawing for a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles for the taping of “The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose.” Aside from the Big League, you can create your own league or join with friends, family or classmates.

This season of The Bachelor is by far the most dramatic season in its history due to the infamous track record of the s leading man, Nick Viall. Viall, 36, has been a contestant on two different seasons of The Bachelorette, vying for Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe’s hearts. During both seasons, he was the most despised contestant among the other men in the house as well as among audiences. Despite America’s distaste for Viall, he somehow swooned the bachelorettes until both finales, where he was left runner-up . . . twice. Third time’s a charm, right? Wrong. Viall got his third chance on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise last summer, where he remained runner-up yet again. Perhaps, The Bachelor franchise is about finding love after all since the producers decided to give Viall a fourth chance; this time, the roses are in his hands.

If you are wanting to join the Fantasy League, it is not too late to get involved. The weekly contest questions go on throughout the entire season and they are a good way to rack up those points. If you haven’t watched any of this season yet, you are not far behind. Tune in to ABC on Monday nights at 7:00 pm to join in on the fun.
