“Unbe-leaf-able” Fashion Trends

As summer turns to autumn, the weather is not the only thing changing. Fall fashion trends are coming back almost as quickly as the leaves are changing colors. Before the trees are bare, make sure to put away your summer wardrobe and bundle up to embrace the cold.

Everyone is talking about knee high boots this year. They are making an appearance in every store around town, including MOD and Target. These high rise boots are perfect for dressing up any look. I highly recommend picking up a pair.

Flannels, sweaters and scarves are obvious staples for the season. A new trend coming to the table this year is cowl neck sweaters, a cozy yet fashionable piece. It can be paired with leggings and knee high boots, or a baseball cap and
running shoes for a trip to the grocery store. The cowl neck also doubles as a scarf, making it a gimagereat choice for windy days.

The leaves are changing colors and so is the fashion color scheme. Mustard yellow, burnt orange and army green are just a few of the popular colors this season. Outerwear including trench coats and ponchos are perfect for the chilly fall wind. The clothing this fall is definitely chic and comfortable.

Fall makeup trends are going rogue. The dark berry lips and warm smoky eyes are becoming a bit basic. This season they are

being replaced by cool-toned nudes and glitter. These new lipsticks have been the new fad lately with colors like “Cool Girl” by Too Faced and “Point Zero” by Colourpop. Glitter eyeshadow is normally a classic holiday look, but this fall, makeup artists are using more glitter eyeshadows than mattes.

It is time to fall into these fashion fads. Swap out your sundresses for sweaters and your flip flops for knee high boots. You do not want to miss out on the “wonderfall” fashion this season.
