Many individuals know St. Dominic does a great job hosting a wide variety of events. From the annual CrusaderFest event to the Crusader Gala, those who graduate from St. Dominic will remain members of the school community forever.
That being said, this Saturday, April 12th Dominic will host a new event, called “The Crusader Easter Egg Hunt.”
“I think this is a really cool tradition, St. Dominic is staring. I like that we are adding new things for the community to do together,” senior Olivia Orr said.
Starting at nine o’clock, the Dominic community is invited to join one another in the Crusader Cafe for donuts and coffee. Following breakfast, an Easter Egg hunt will take place throughout the St. Dominic community, which students, staff, and families are invited to participate in,
“My friends and I were thinking of coming out and doing it together, especially since this is our last year together,” senior Madi Greiner said.
Dominic hosts many events throughout the year, and the majority of them have been wildly successful. The purpose of this Easter Egg hunt is to bring the community together, especially to celebrate the spring and looming Easter season. Additionally, it is rumored that the Easter Bunny will make an appearance.
“My favorite part about this new tradition is the Easter bunny. I’ve always loved the Easter bunny,” sophomore Kylie Ingram said.
Another reason Dominic is hosting an Easter Egg hunt is for the fellowship aspect. Staff and Students are invited to bring their families up to school Saturday morning to participate in free activities. Yes, you heard that right, the egg hunt is free for all those who plan to attend, but be sure to RSVP beforehand.
“I love that the students get the chance to connect with staff outside of school,” senior Olivia Huddleston said.
This event is open for anyone to attend. If you love participating in St. Dominic events make sure to come out to the Crusader Easter Egg hunt. Remember, to also bring your family, and friends for a day filled with fun, food, and fellowship!
