As the holiday season quickly approaches, it comes with excitement of giving and receiving gifts. From technology to clothing to beauty products, here are some of the top wants from St. Dominic students.
Since technology plays such a large role in all lives, a new phone and other gadgets are one of the most common things on people’s lists.
“I would love the new iPhone for Christmas. I love the camera quality and the color options it has,” junior Haley Alexander said.
Along with a new phone itself, noise canceling headphones and earbuds, along with phone accessories are also a top want.
“I need a new phone case and Air Pods for Christmas. I am always listening to music so getting a new pair would really be the best thing I could get,” senior Madison Lynch said.
Clothes and jewelry are another need for teens this year. All the way from the basics to unique and personalized accessories.
“On my list, I have White Fox hoodies and sweatpants and LuLu Lemon leggings,” senior Caroline Wheeler said.
Whether you’re a gold or silver person, jewelry is one of the easiest things to get for Christmas, and every other holiday or special occasion.
“My list basically consists of jewelry from Evry Jewels, Amazon, Pandora, and Kendra Scott. I really hope Santa brings me some this year,” senior Ella Le Doux said.
No outfit is complete without shoes, and at St. Dominic shoes are one of the few things that aren’t a part of the dress code, so it’s no surprise they’re on the top of lists.
“I love Adidas campus shoes, and I would love another pair. I also want a pair of knee high black boots,” senior Gabby Ohlms said.
Skin care and make up are always a must for Christmas, especially for teen girls. With all of the new trends and brands, they are all on lists.
“I love Rare Beauty and Charlotte Tilbury make up. I have a bunch of stuff from there on my list this year,” senior Caroline Nance said.
Not only girls have self care products on their list, cologne is a top contender for boys and men’s lists in 2024.
“I have gotten really big into cologne over the past years and I ask for it for my birthday, Easter, Valentines Day, and Christmas every year,” senior Van Johnson said.
Though toy cars and baby dolls are not on the lists for teens at St. Dominic, there are plenty of accessible gadgets and necessities for teens to consider this year. From technology, to fashion, to self care, anyone buying gifts for a loved one is sure to find a perfect, affordable gift.
