The town of O’Fallon is always growing, so it’s no surprise that new places are continuing to pop up. From restaurants to shops, and everything in between, the local community surrounding St. Dominic is booming!
Everyone’s favorite trampoline park, Rockin Jump, recently became Sky Zone. While many of the features inside the amusement area remain the same, Sky Zone is committed to improving the fun experience. When looking for something to do this is a great option, as it is located 0.3 miles from Dominic’s campus.
“I really enjoyed it, some new things are there’s a new basketball court, they added slides and they redid the rock wall as well,” senior Alison Mylenbusch said.
Good Wood Brewery recently opened on Main Street and has already become a hit. Both teachers and students at St. Dominic have already taken a liking to the Brewery’s great food, and even better outdoor patio. Additionally, many students from St. Dominic have gotten jobs there and many positions are still available.
“I started working at Good Wood in August and already love the restaurant. The vibes inside and especially on the patio are great,” senior Ava Gandolfo said.
Bath and Body Works stores can be found all around O’fallon and a new one is currently being added on Highway K. Right next to Target, the store will include all the popular merchandise and fragrances known to carry the famous brand.
“I love how it’s so close to my house and how the target is right next to it. It’s a double whammy,” Learning Consultant Mrs. Gerard said.
Coffee places are popping up everywhere around the city, yet another popular place is making its way to Bryan road. Dutch Bros is known for their delicious coffee, teas, energy drinks and breakfast items. Although its opening day has not been announced yet, construction has already started.
“I’m super excited to be able to try a new place in O’Fallon. I hope it’s better than 7 Brew just because it’s closer to St. Dominic,” senior Amelia Reeves said.
When it comes to trying new things it’s often assumed you must get outside of your comfort zone. However, in O’Fallon, Missouri you can try new things from the comfort of your
hometown. Whether it be trying a new restaurant or checking out new stores, take advantage of what O’Fallon has to offer!
