As we get closer to the spooky season, fall activities have become very popular. There are many options of full fall things to choose from!
One of the most popular things to do this fall season is make a trip up to Eureka and go to Six Flags’s Fright Fest. Fright Fest is not only lots of fun with all the rides, but also very scary. Fright Fest is filled with scary actors all around the park waiting to give you a fright.
“I love going to Fright Fest because I love roller coasters, but also it’s way more fun with all the actors around and watching everyone get scared,” junior Houston Yonaka said.
If you’re not into being frightened, don’t worry there are plenty more options, like pumpkin patches. Pumpkin patches offer things such as, yummy fall foods, pumpkin carving, hay rides, and corn mazes. This is a perfect time to dress in your fall attire, gather up some friends and have a day at the pumpkin patch.
“Every year, my friends and I like to take cute pictures at the pumpkin patch, and get pumpkin spice lattes while going on a hayride,” junior Sam Liszewski said.
Jumping back into the spooky aspect of fall activities, haunted houses are a great option. If you love being scared check out the Cobb Factory in Old Monroe. The Cobb Factory is full of scary frights and lots of laughs with friends and family.
“The Cobb Factory is one of the things I look forward to each fall season even though I’m always so scared to go in, I end up having so much fun,” junior Kate McDonald said.
Another thing that is very popular this fall season is farmers markets. Farmers market is perfect to bring your friends and family to support the community, and get some great fresh foods. They offer lots of homemade treats and goods that are perfect for the fall season. A very common farmers market is The Meadows in Lake St. Louis. They are open from eight to noon, on weekends!
“Me and my parents love to go to the farmers market, because they always have the best coffee, and they have really good crepes,” senior Keeley Skiljan said.
Don’t forget to check out all these places this fall season, and get your scare on! There are also many ways to find new fun locations on X, Instagram, and Facebook!
