Powering through Postseason: Crusaders vs Comets
It was truly an intense game as the varsity football team went up against the McCluer Comets on Saturday in the district semifinals. The mighty Crusaders started out strong, scoring three consecutive touchdowns, ending the first quarter leading 21-0. However, McCluer came back, leading 28-21 at the half. The Crusaders fought back as junior Jackson Overton brought the Crusaders up, scoring a total of five touchdowns. The Crusaders finished the game off strong with a final score of 43-36 against the Comets, securing them a spot in the district championship game.
