Summer in Style
People use fashion to express themselves every day, which is why it is important to keep up-to-date with the latest trends. 2021 summer fashion trends are very unique and funky and have made their way in every teenage girl’s wardrobe.
A t-shirt doesn’t cut it these days, as you never see a girl pick to wear a basic t-shirt to go out. Instead, crochet knit tops have been a huge hit and will definitely be seen in the summertime. It is about time for grandmas to put their years of crocheting to use!
Another favorable trend are maxi dresses or dresses that reach shin length. The long dresses give a “running through a field vibes,” and everyone is here for it. Maxi dresses are perfect for casual outings but can be accessorized with simple jewelry or a fun heel to turn it into a formal piece.
One of the most popular trends this summer are biker shorts. It is an odd thing to say, especially because this trend does not mean people are wearing them to go biking. However, pair them with an oversized t-shirt and chunky white sneakers, and this outfit would go viral on social media.
There are two drastically different prints that have roamed their way into everyone’s closets for the summer: pastels and plaid prints. Depending on how you feel, you can reach for a light blue, pink, or yellow outfit to showcase an innocent and simple look, or, to add a little bit of spice, try a variety of plaid prints. Colored plaid prints have been a bigger hit than they normally are.
More big trends for the summer include chain jewelry and unusual sunglasses. Gold chain necklaces and either massive or tiny sunglasses can be paired with anything to create an edgy ensemble. While some may find this look a little intimidating, it sure does add more pizazz to any plain outfit in an easy and affordable way to always slay the game.
No matter what you choose to wear this summer, keep these popular trends in mind and go out of your comfort zone because you may find a new favorite summer style.
