Now that the end of the school year is approaching, we have a little more time to ourselves, and in that free time we tend to get hungry and snack a lot. Here are a few tasty food trends that will make your taste buds dance with joy.

Nature’s Cereal

This glorious trend was made as a healthier alternative to real cereal. All you need is some fruit, ice, and coconut water. This trend got super popular on TikTok this year and surprised so many people with how good it tastes. You’d expect some soggy fruit in a bowl, but this is such a refreshing treat that tastes so good!

Chick-Fil-A Bowl

This food trend has been all over TikTok and looks so tasty! For this treat you will need to go to Chick-Fil-A and order some nuggets, fries, macaroni and cheese and Chick-Fil-A sauce. All you do after this is put it all into a bowl and shake it up, then eat this tasty treat! If you’re a Chick-Fil-A junkie like me I’d definitely recommend it.

Chick-Fil-A Pizza

Once again, another trend found on TikTok is the beautiful and tasty Chick-Fil-A pizza. Not only are these delicious, but the ingredients are pretty easy to get too. You need pizza dough or crust, Chick-Fil A-sauce, nuggets, fries and a cheese of your choice. Pile this all on the pizza and enjoy! Chick-Fil-A just keeps on giving to our tasty trends of 20201!

Oatmeal

This snack is such a healthy alternative, and is gaining popularity through TikTok as many trends are these days. TikTok has been a platform to share a lot more ways to enjoy the snack instead of eating the plain oatmeal in the packets. They are making it more enjoyable by adding things like honey, fruit, chocolate, peanut butter/almond butter, coconut and much more. You can never go wrong with a tasty homemade oatmeal!

Açaí Bowls

These smoothie bowls have been an ongoing trend for a while now, and don’t plan to become less trendy any time soon. For these bowls, all you need are some açaí packets to put into the mix, and then your toppings to top it off! There is such a variety of toppings you can find to top off your bowl, but here are just a few things that I’d suggest: almond butter, bananas, strawberries (pretty much any type of fruit), chocolate chips, coconut shreds, honey and so much more! This is such a refreshing treat and always a good go to snack when you’re looking for a healthy alternative.

Rice Cakes

This snack alone has always been around, but not really popular. Now that TikTok hyped it up as a healthy snack that you can add into your routine, it is becoming very popular. There are so many flavors of rice cakes that you can buy at almost any grocery store near you. The ones that are becoming really popular though are the plain rice cakes and the chocolate rice cakes. With the plain rice cakes, you can put anything on them like avocado spread, almond butter, cream cheese, etc. The chocolate rice cakes are my personal favorite because they are healthy for you and taste just like chocolate coco puffs. You can even add peanut butter to them for a tasty twist!
