Best Shows to Binge in Bed
After a long, hard day of struggling to stay awake during math class, many students just want to relax at home. One of the best ways to chill is to turn on those shows or movies that never get old! Of course, they’re different for each person, but these are some of the most common flicks among our Crusaders.
If you’re looking for a good movie to watch on a cold night, look no further. For the light hearted comedy movie fans, watch some classics like The Sandlot or Grown Ups. Both movies are pretty well known and quoted frequently.
“I remember seeing Grown Ups as a kid and I was rolling on the floor laughing the whole movie. I especially like it because I’m a BIG Adam Sandler fan. Most of my humor comes from him in this movie,” said junior Max Williams said.
Fans of romance movies may enjoy The Princess Bride or The Notebook, two very well known movies. These movies have great plots that will make even the coldest heart melt a little.
Family movies good for people of all ages are the Disney classics, such as Cinderella, The Jungle Book, The Fox and the Hound and many, many more.
“My family loves Disney movies because we can all watch them together. There’s a Disney movie out there for all of us, no matter what genre of movies we like. These movies have been something I’ve grown up with and they always make me feel better when I watch them,” junior Kennedy Jones said.
Along with movies, there are plenty of comfort shows to watch. Junior Morgan Tracy’ all time favorite show to binge is One Tree Hill.
“One Tree Hill is an awesome show, and one of my all time favorites, because it has a great story line. I can watch it again and again without getting tired of it, which is something I really like in a tv show,” Tracy said.
Some other classic comfort shows among our students are Criminal Minds, Gilmore Girls, Scooby Doo and Vampire Diaries. With a wide variety of content in all of these, there’s something for everyone.
Be sure to take some time to let your brain rest for a little and watch one of these awesome shows or movies. You deserve it!
