Heartfelt and Homemade
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but for many also the most expensive. Here’s some great gift ideas that won’t break your budget this holiday season!
Photo Album
As a very sentimental gift-giver, going the homemade route is almost always what I prefer. It’s easy to make gifts affordable and heartfelt, so one gift I always love to give is a photo album. It’s an awesome way to commemorate a year full of fun memories that your friends and family can treasure that’s also cheap and easy! It’s homemade, so people know you’ve put a lot of time and effort into it, and that makes them love it all the more. All in all it’s a great gift idea, especially if you aren’t super artistic.
Art
However, if art is more your thing, another super creative and cute homemade gift is a painting or drawing. Giving a family member or close friend a drawing or painting of one of your favorite memories or a place or thing that means a lot to them is super sweet and touching. It shows how much you care, and supplies can also be pretty inexpensive. It’s another easy and cheap idea, especially for those more artistically inclined.
Letters
People also love the gifts that keep on giving. By being creative, you can give loved ones letters to open whenever they feel a certain way, a box of date or hang-out ideas or even a bunch of notes just saying why you love and appreciate them. Those are gifts that are super easy to make, all you need is paper and a pen!
Whatever you decide to create this holiday season, homemade gifts are a great way to show your loved ones just how much you care—without breaking the bank.
