Thankful for the Theater
There are always plenty of new movies released around Thanksgiving, which makes it the perfect time to head to the theater with your family. Check out the list below to find the movie you and your family will be thankful to see this Thanksgiving.
Frozen 2
The sequel to Disney’s 2013 hit is sure to please all its fans. This time, Elsa, Anna and their friends embark on a new journey beyond Arendelle. They must discover the origins of Elsa’s powers and of course, save their kingdom. Be sure to check out Frozen 2 for perfect start to the winter season!
Knives Out
This new movie is a modern take on the classic murder mystery genre. Filled with a star-studded cast, the movie follows a family whose gathering has gone very wrong. The head of the family has died and his death causes the rest of the family to hire a detective to investigate. No one is safe, and everyone is a suspect. Be sure to catch this thriller when it premieres November 27.
21 Bridges
This action film stars Chadwick Boseman as a NYPD detective who shuts down all 21 bridges of Manhattan in order to find two dangerous suspects. This action-packed thriller is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Ford v Ferrari
In this movie, Ford has been tasked with creating a new and improved racecar in order to finally defeat their biggest rival, Ferrari. Full of twists, turns and intense races, this movie is sure to be fun for all viewers. Ford v Ferrari was released on November 15, so be sure to catch it while it’s still in theaters.
Playing with Fire
This family movie follows a group of male firefighters who take in three children after they were separated from their parents. Will these three men, led by John Cena, be able to control the kids? Find out this Thanksgiving weekend!
A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
Everyone loves Mr. Rogers, and in this new movie we are able to experience the joy he brings once again. In A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Tom Hanks portrays the beloved Mr. Rogers as he teaches a powerful message about acceptance and understanding. Everyone should be sure to add this powerful movie to their Thanksgiving watchlist.
Doctor Sleep
The last movie to catch this Thanksgiving belongs to the horror genre. Doctor Sleep is the sequel to Steven King’s The Shining, and follows Dan Torrance as he faces the traumatizing events from his childhood. Will he be able to overcome his past, or will the events of his future overcome him? Be sure to catch this thriller while it’s still in theaters.
