It’s More Than A Car to Azar

In the past few years, senior Trevor Azar has gained popularity for his unique car wraps. This year, he has proved that his creativity is completely out of this world. His 2014 Subaru WRX Hatchback is covered with a galaxy themed wrap, but the originality of this car goes beyond its physical attributes.

Azar chose to wrap his car in this way to advertise this year’s homecoming theme of “out of this world,” as he had a personal connection with the theme.

“It represents that you’re all alone in this big world, and sometimes you feel emptiness all around you,” Azar said.

Azar’s passion for cars is evident, so it is no surprise that he took this love to the next level.

After moving to St. Louis from New York, Azar recognized an “awesome car scene” and took advantage of it. With a fascination for cars and help from friends and family, Azar and his friend Thomas created their own car club: TNT Car Club.

“I started this club with my friend Thomas when we were 15, and suddenly it blew up, and is now one of the most well known clubs in STL,” Azar said.

With their club gaining publicity in the St. Louis area, a sponsor approached the teenagers and gave them the deal of a lifetime.

“The sponsor reached out to us and wanted to do wraps on our cars, and in return we just represented them,” Azar said.

Azar has not only found opportunities that benefit him and his friends, but also ways to use his love of cars to help others.

“I drive my car on the track for Misfit Toys Car Club. They work with kids who have autism and try to show others about autism, so that the public can really understand what it is and what they can do to help. I fell in love with the idea of helping others understand autism and what it really is,” Azar said.

Azar is a perfect example of how to use our interests and skills to better the lives of others. We wish him the best of luck with his car club and encourage him to continue spreading awareness and joy with his dope car wraps.
