Remembering the Life of Stan Lee
On November 12, the world lost a legend. Marvel Comics writer Stan Lee was taken to the hospital on Monday morning for pneumonia, and he passed away later that day.
Although his physical presence can no longer be seen, his legacy will live on forever. Stan Lee wrote comic books for the Marvel company and created many of your favorite superheroes, including Spider-Man, Captain America and Iron Man.
Lee’s death was a loss for everyone in the Marvel Universe, with his death impacting everyone from actors to the common fan. Robert Downey Jr. was a great example of this impact, as he posted a picture on Instagram with Stan Lee, captioning it “I owe it all to you, Rest In Peace Stan…”
Although this is a tough pill to swallow for many fans around the world, Stan Lee has still left his mark on the cinematic world of Marvel. His cameos can be seen in every movie in the MCU made during his lifetime, even continuing through the highly anticipated Avengers 4.
Being a security guard in The Incredible Hulk was just one of his many appearances. Others include portraying millionaire Hugh Hefner in Iron Man and Iron Man 2, and simply a chess player during The Avengers.
The death of Stan Lee has affected millions today and will continue to affect millions more throughout time. The impact he left on the Marvel Community will be remembered forever as everyone mourns his loss and remembers him for years to come.
