Apple is stepping up their game with the new iOS 12 update. From Memoji, to new music features and Siri shortcuts, this update will surely not disappoint Apple users.

If you have an iPhone X, you’ll be excited to learn that with the new update, Memoji is here. Animoji was a popular feature in the previous update where animated animal emojis would match users’  facial expressions and voice sounds. Now users have the ability to create their  own “Memoji,” or a face emoji that looks just like them. Users can customize skin tone, hair color and eye color, and make a you-moji to send to friends!

The bug fixes included with iOS 12 have proved to enhance the overall experience for Apple users. The camera app launches up to 70 percent faster, and the keyboard 50 percent with better responsiveness when typing.

Apple is also catering to you and your friends’ shared music tastes. With New Friends Mix, all of the music you and your friends love is put onto a playlist. Whether you’re at home, doing homework or getting ready for a sports match, you and your besties can listen to your favorite songs together.

Apple is taking things out of this world with their Augmented Reality system. The AR app, Measure, allows users to go virtually anywhere. Companies are able to feature their products through AR and allow you to plan ahead for events down the line. Whether you’re shopping at IKEA for new living room furniture, or trying to figure out how to navigate your way through a terminal, you can do it all from the comfort of your own home with your iPhone.

Apple’s iOS 12 changes the technology game, and these additions are just the beginning of what’s to come. With the new iPhone XS, XS Max and XR rolling out, Apple is already planning more updates to come this fall for iPhone users to look forward to.
