Golf and Tennis Take Next Step Towards Districts

Girls golf and girls tennis both stepped up with huge performances in their AAA Conference Tournaments this week, putting them in great position for districts.

On September 22, girls tennis cruised to an easy win at their AAA Conference Tournament. The girls swept, finishing with a 30-0 record on the day. With the entire team performing at such a high level, expectations are sky high for the upcoming weeks.

“We all are in sync and getting the plays we want. I’m really excited to see what we can do in districts,” said junior Dania Salman.

Later on in the week, girls golf followed suit with a win at their own AAA Conference Tournament. Senior Emma Story was a match medalist with an 83 and junior Trinity Hoffstetter was second with an 89. Even on an off day, with some sloppy play making things close, the girls still pulled out a win.

“We weren’t at our best today, but we still ended up winning so I can’t wait to play in districts,” said Story.

As the end of the regular season approaches, the Crusader teams will be perfecting any and all final touches to their play before districts.
